Conferences are another great source of inspiration, and while I miss the in-person connections and random discussions, online conferences make it so much easier, less time consuming and cheaper to attend diverse conferences and broaden your thinking.

Here are a few options to consider:

South By Southwest

March 16-20 (Online)

Featuring a variety of tracks that allow attendees to explore what’s next in the worlds of film, culture, music, and technology, SXSW proves that the most unexpected discoveries happen when diverse topics and people come together. Some of the themes for this year are:  Challenging Tech’s Path Forward, Cultural Resilience in the Arts, The Rebirth of Business, Connections in Disconnection and an Unchartered Future. https://www.sxsw.com/

Wisdom 2.0

This conference and this organization focuses on the intersection of technology, mindfulness and impact. This was the last conference I attended in person last year and was impress by the speakers and the topics. https://www.wisdom2summit.com/2021

“The question is not whether technology will advance.  The question is whether humans will advance, whether we will grow in awareness, wisdom, and compassion to meet the great challenges of our time. That is what matters.”

— Soren Gordhamer, Founder, Wisdom 2.0

Social Innovation Summit

June 8-10  (Online)

“The Social Innovation Summit is an annual event that represents a global convening of black swans and wayward thinkers. Where most bring together luminaries to explore the next big idea, we bring together those hungry not just to talk about the next big thing, but to build it.” A great place to meet other motivated to take action around social innovation.
